Hello my name is Carl Hanna.
Today I’ll be talking about my learning experience at Toronto eSchool – an online high school.
I will explain how it works and what I Learned and how it helped me grow as a student. So basically what is Toronto eSchool, Toronto eSchool is an online school where students can take courses from home. It follows the Ontario curriculum just like regular schools, but everything is done online. This includes lesson assignments and tests.
My learning experience was different from a traditional classroom. I studied at my own pace and managed my own schedule. I used online lessons videos and readings to understand the material. If I needed help I could contact teachers online.
This experience help me develop important skills. For example, I improved my time management because I had to plan my own study time. I also became more independent and responsible for my learning.
In addition I improved my computer and research skills, even though there were many benefits. I also faced some challenges. Sometimes it was hard to stay motivated as at a classroom environment.
I also had to stay organized to keep up with deadlines. So throughout this experience I learned that I’m capable of learning independently and I became more confident in my abilities, and learned how to overcome difficulties on my own.
So in conclusion my experience at Toronto eSchool was very valuable. It helped me grow academically and personally. I gained important skills that will help me in the future, especially in college or other online learning environments.
